Some Vivaldi for Christmas Eve. This was Corwin’s last recital with his current violin instructor. He has been with her for four years or so and Mom thought we might try a bit of change because it’s long drive out to her house for lessons (about 45 minutes travel for a 30 minute lesson1) and because Corwin still, after almost five years, won’t make eye contact. Mom and I think she’s very nice but apparently she frightens Corwin.
1 This wasn’t so bad when Charles was playing violin because Mom scheduled the lessons together. Now that it’s just Corwin it is a bit more of a problem.
