Charles: Can I have a chocolate?
Mom: OK, one chocolate.
Charles: Can you open this for me?
Mom: Maybe,.
Charles: Please, non-heart warming Mom?
Mom: [aghast] Charles!
Charles: [laughs]
Mom: You are a weird little boy.
Charles: OK, non-heart warming Mom who thinks I am a weird little boy, can you unwrap this?
Dad: So Charles thinks that he can be mean and still get his chocolate unwrapped because you’re such a soft touch.
Charles: [laughs]
Mom: Apparently. [finishes unwrapping chocolate]
Dad: I would say that he sits there vindicated.
