Today was Mom’s day to get ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Lots of cleaning and some panicking over the lack of defrosting on Mom’s 22 pound turkey, even though she put it in the refrigerator on Monday Saturday. We attended evening church services which as you can imagine thrilled the children. Alice and Charles were the only young kids there and because Charles has always refused to go to the childrens’ sermon the pastor skipped it. Charles and I managed to deliver popcorn to all but one house, who seem to have left town for the week.
