Mom has left us this week to go off to a conference. Since it normally takes two of us to keep the kids going in the evenings with their schedule we will be making some hard choices about what they get to do this week.
Mom left yesterday and the kids were very low key about it, barely noticing. Alice lasted until it was near bed time at which point she started asking “when is Mommy going to be home?”. She was not happy to be informed it wouldn’t be for several days. “How long is that?” she asked.
