It was a busy weekend. Charles and I have been out hitting doorsteps desperately trying to sell Cub Scout popcorn (guess what, Grandma, you bought big!). Corwin worked on the lawn and carved our Halloween pumpkin. Alice and I went to the church “Trunk or Treat” while Mom took the boys off to a distant town for a string band performance, but not before Mom cleaned out the gutters (a few leaves in them here and there).
