Shortly after the Guinea Pig Mansion was installed, I had a short discussion with Charles.
Dad: You know, Charles, most fancy houses like the Guinea Pig Mansion have their own names, to show how fancy they are.
Charles: Really?
Dad: Yes. I was thinking you could name this one.
Charles: OK!
Dad: But not “Mr. Mansion” or “Mansionee”.
Charles: Doctor Mansion!
Mom also had a lot of blue plastic cardboard left over. She had purchased this to create a bottom to the GPM but over estimated the amount needed. She left the rest to Charles and Alice, who cut it up in to chunks, drew faces on the chunks, and then named most of them. They would then have little arguments over which one was named what, until Charles started writing the names on them.
