Today was the first day back at school for the boys (Alice doesn’t start until Friday). Oddly, Charles was the less enthusiastic of the two. He used to like school. Corwin was resignedly indifferent. I think the worst part of the day for him was having Mom sit next to him afterward and try to debrief him. Nothing makes a bad thing worse for Corwin more than talking about it.
I was surprised that Josh and Jake were pretty amicable about sharing about the first day of school. Maybe they just did it to get me to shut up…like of like ripping the bandage off fast to get the pain over with.…
