Order Horizon

Lots of activity but not so much done

I know I have been very much lacking in promptness in keeping up here, but we’re very busy but not in the good way that generates good writing material. So I will just catch up with a few of the things that have happened that I didn’t get around to noting —

• Charles lost a tooth at a soccer practice a few weeks back. It was very loose and another kid elbowed him in the mouth, popping it out. I told Charles he should split the tooth fairy’s loot with him for getting it out.
• Mom started up her gardening, even though it has snowed since then. Her daffodils were blooming nicely until then.
• Mom is also been focused on getting her bike back in shape. She repaired the brakes and put on new shifters, although she still can’t quite shift the front gear down to the lowest gear.
• Mom got rid of the ailing tree right in front inside the courtyard. Now we have a big stump and a couple of logs for seats for the back firepit.
