Because things were so slow around here, Mom decided that we would have an open house on New Year’s Day and invite various neighbors and families of the kids friends over. So yesterday and the morning of today were spent desperately cleaning and tidying, plus preparing food.
I think it went well, there weren’t many child meltdowns (the main one was when Charles noticed a piece missing from his crane). The turnout was good and many people enjoyed the Wii and Wii Fit, even Mara. Nobody could beat Alice’s ski jump record, though.
