As you can tell, Alice’s birthday party was the de facto center of our lives this month. Here’s another picture of some of the aftermath. As one of the activities, we had a set of canvas backpack bags along with fabric markers and glitter glue. Our plan was to let the kids decorate them and then use them to take home their parting gifts. It was not nearly as interesting to the kids as I had hoped, but a few of them enjoyed it. Charles insisted on participating and this is the result.
