Charles had a bad Friday last week because he forgot his homework folder at school. He was very distraught, even though it meant he didn’t have to do the homework until he got back to school on Monday. Naturally he forgot his folder again Monday after school and had a meltdown when he discovered this. Just as I was wondering if we were in for an entire evening of sad Charles, Olivia rang the doorbell bearing Charles’ folder. Charles refused to speak to her (presumably because it while not at school, it was sort of school related). I did force him to thank Olivia for his rescue.
