Very cool looking new scar. Do we have to guess what you did this time? Okay, here go my best shots: another back alley knife fight? shot yourself in the head with a model rocket? finally went ahead and treated yourself to that lobotomy you’ve been wanting for all these years?
In any case, I hope it is less painful than it looks.
It’s a Dad’s duty to serve as a model for his children and I figured it was time to demonstrate the proper way to engage in head injuries. It was For The Children™, not because of any personal clumsiness or absent-mindedness. Nope. Not a bit.
P.S. Charles thought it was cool in general, but not cool for Halloween. See, I think that may be an artifact of improper head injury technique.
P.P.S. Right after I did it, I showed it to Mom to get her opinion on the seriousness of the injury, but she had a meeting so she just said “it looks fine, don’t worry about it” and headed out the door.
