Working for the weekend

It’s been a busy weekend.

• Mom’s getting ready to go out of town for a few days for a technical conference.
• Grandma came down for a visit and to take Alice off for a week while Mom’s gone
• Corwin had his first (informal) soccer practice of the season.
• Charles is now asking to go outside.
• Corwin started on his pine wood derby car and got to use power tools without Dad’s physically guiding hand.
• Alice had many happy times clapping. She loves to clap.
• Grandma gave Alice a doll to hold, which she carried around in a loving hug, giving it a little kiss. Then Alice carefully laid the doll on the floor and tried to poke its eyes out.
